If you have multiple parts from various vehicles and a partial vehicle identification number you can process the entire scene, and then find all of the parts for the vehicle that match by simply clicking the evidence grouped by serial number report under the analysis. tab.   This will save you in some cases weeks of work pouring over crime scene or search warrant inventory reports.

The vehicle evidence drop list is completely customizable, so you can add vehicles or vehicle parts that you frequently encounter.
